I live in a household of males. Even my dog and cat are male. And they are all completely and utterly guided by their stomachs. They are never full. But I’m also in a household of not just males, but male athletes (okay, the dog is getting a bit old to be considered an athlete!). They take their eating very seriously. Made this for dinner with a couple changes. I try not to eat a lot of dairy, so instead of cream I put in more chicken broth and used gluten free flour to thicken it. Was yummy!
We eat a lot of rice. And I’m really bad at remembering to change up the rice. Think that goes back to the days when the kids would only eat things plain. So tonight I finally changed it up. Added some chicken broth, oregano and a bay leaf to our brown rice. And look at that, it tasted good! Here are some more ideas.
Made these pork chops the other night for the family. They went over well. Because I’m celiac, I don’t usually have a gluten free mushroom soup around, so I made these with tomato sauce instead. I also added zucchini!
