This album came out when I was in the thick of my master’s degree, so it takes me back to days and nights of studying. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers have a ton of great songs. And it is covered by so many of my favourites, two of which are below. Released 1989.

There is a whole series of these 10 minute solution workouts. I’m all for quick workouts!
Oh the books of Rosemary Rogers. Long before there was all the controversy around 50 Shades and other similar books, there were the books of Rosemary Rogers and other authors like her. I remember getting my hands on these books when i was in high school, and read them over and over. Sex education at the finest. Published in 1974.
You could go out and buy this just for the fun of reminiscing what the 70s brought us. And probably can only find it at a good used bookstore!Share this post!
Do you have a place that as soon as you walk in to it, you feel a serenity come over you?
I have such a place. And I’m very blessed to have it.
Five years ago we bought a cabin with two other families. It is less than an hour away from our home. It is on a lake. And it is breathtaking.
It is usually chaotic with teenagers and adults and dogs running everywhere. It is rarely peaceful.
But yet is so peaceful. It is serenity.
We call the place Bonnie Doon after a mutual love of the movie The Castle (I will have to make that my movie Friday next week). And in the movie, the main character uses Serenity a lot.
So we love our serenity at Bonnie Doon.
I have had a really hectic couple of weeks. And I can feel my stress level growing. So we decided to go up to Bonnie Doon for a night, just to feel the serenity and get back into the right head space.
Again, I am so lucky to have a place to call my serenity. But it doesn’t have to be a cabin. It can be a park, a beach, a room in your house.
Where is your serenity? Think about it and find time to visit it this weekend. Enjoy.Share this post!
I’m starting to think about summer. I mean we always think about summer, but I’m thinking about breakfast time at our cabin when you never know how many teenage boys you will be feeding. This looks like a great one for those mornings.
