Meatloaf “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights”

Meatloaf Bat out of HellThis song brings back to many different memories. Besides being the longest song (yet one that so many people can sing from start to finish on the dance floor), it was also a song that my work did in a lip sync contest 20 years ago. I can still visualize it! Released 1977.

Day 98 – Be Nice to Me or I Might Blog About You

Be Nice to MeMy good friend found this saying on some pajamas for me this Christmas. And it is such a perfect quote. Because I think when I started my blog challenge, I worried all those around me.

Think they were all worried that I would start writing about them.

But I have resisted and haven’t written about them, at least not too much. And I am careful about what I write about, because I’m always thinking about them reading what I’m writing.

And having to face them if I wrote something they didn’t like.

So I keep the blog more about what I’m thinking about, and how things affect me. But no gossip allowed.

I’m also trying to make sure I stay positive with my posts. No one wants to hear whining. There is nothing that drives me more nuts than posts after posts on Facebook that are negative.

The way I look at it, blogs and social media should be for the fun and more generic topics. Things that I have no problem sharing with the general public.

Secrets and some topics are just meant for your best friend.

So don’t worry family and friends, your secrets are safe with me. I promise.

What do you think about sharing information on social media? Do people share too much? What topics would you prefer not to see or hear about on social media?
